Wasting your time mate......he wasn't playing for one of the big sides or Warrington
1 Tackle every 1 min 21 seconds......for 80 minutes....incredible effort.

| Shane Millard for Widnes against Wigan, in 2004 I think. Was a SKY game and he just tackled everything. Remember the Widnes crowd really got on the backs of Farrell, who was visibly frustrated and it got to him. Great backs against the wall win for us, when we were fighting relegation.
Jamie Lyon v Salford springs to mind the most though. Think he scored or set up three tries to bring Saints back from the dead, won the game by himself.

What makes that even more staggering is the fact he completes the majority of them with his shorts around his ankles!

| Bryan Carney for the Goons against Leeds in the playoffs a few years ago.
Leeds were by far the better team but Carney's 2 long range tries gave Wigan a chance.

He had a lot of great games did Carney. That one stands out because of the occasion though. We had nowhere near a full-strength side that day.

| Paul Sculthorpe time n time again, match in, match out resulting in back to MOS awards. Carried a saints team on his giant back, and crippled himself in the process.

| Great topic although I'm hard pressed to remember because of my poor memory. I can remember great individual performances from some of the players mentioned even if I haven't rated that individual player that highly.
For Saints Paul Sculthorpe definitely had more than a handful and a few people have mentioned Lyon as well with the Salford game at The Willows being one of those games where he won the match single-handedly for us. Tommy Martyn played some incredible games for us. Not many of those solo games tend to be in the biggest games so I think it's sometimes easier remembering opposition players having a huge game against us. I seem to remember Rob Burrow being the difference between us and Leeds one day when he tore us apart at our place. The one that really sticks in my mind though is pre-Super League when Nigel Wright was playing for Wakefield and he beat us on his own. It remains the most memorable individual performance I've seen from a player against us.
On a neutral point (although it wasn't that amazing), watching Andrew Johns transform Warrington for a game was incredible too. If only we'd had the chance to see a full season or two by him.
Internationally the Darren Lockyer Tri-Nations Final display is simply the greatest individuals effort I've been fortunate enough to see.

| For me it has to be Richie Barnett against Salford at The Willows, when he was playing for London Broncos. He must have had an average kick return of about 50 metres. He sliced through us every single time he touched the ball, he also took some great catches too. The best performance I have witnessed at The Willows.
I think an honourable mention has to go to David Hulme. At Salford he would play with his knees and thighs wrapped up in bandages but in some games he would take up the ball twice every set of six we had and make good yards too. He would also chip in with around 40 tackles. A true warrior and an RL legend IMO.
