Strange game that one. Ganson gave Leeds nothing for an hour...looked like Leeds would be reffed out of the game, and suddenly things seemed to swing even. Ironic then, that a contentious penalty in Leeds' favour wins them the game. IMO, the penalty was correct.



Absolutely epic game, fantastic to see twitter full of praise from non-RL fans. What a shame that wasn't the Grand Final. Even as a Wigan fan I was breathless at the end.

I don't think Myler is offside, he's in line with the other players in the defensive line and if you look at the pitch markings he's definitely the full ten metres.

Is he in front of the referee? Yes he is (as are a few other players) that and the fact the markers are not square I don't see how anyone could say it was a contentious decision. Right decision. But the Hall's third try should have stood as well.

It's an offence not to retreat 10m, if the ref (as Ganson, and a lot do) stand 12m back to observe better then it's not an offence to stand in front of the ref.
