Unfortunately it tends to be open season for attacking RL governing bodies on these types of forums, so i've tried to refrain, but you would have thought that the RLI could be relied on to provide a link on their brand new website! The Irish RL rumour mill has it that the RLI executives are watching it live.

A few people giving David Niu some serious grief on twitter. Think yesterday's result could have put the final nail in the AMNRL coffin.

Sad way to end if it happens. Hope the US, Jamacia & Canada can really kick on after this. Would be great for Irish RL if we could get them over here.

It's more of a civil war rather than the end of rugby league in the US. I think there's a similar situation in Italy, but I'm sure someone like Headhunter would know more about it than me.

The simple fact is that rugby league can't afford to have two or more rival governing bodies, especially nit in places like Italy and the US.

Think your right as far as the National team is concerned, its not so relevent for the Domestic teams or leagues. Problem for RL in North America is the distances are so great. Will be difficult for an organisation based in the NE eg Philly to dictate to teams & hopefully leagues based in independently minded Texas!
