I thought that was a terrific event and great coverage by Premier Sports, who really are doing a great job for RL at present.



I hadn't watched 9s before tonight but it got me really hooked. I loved the chip and chasing, the pace and the wild scramble defence (hard work to defend all that pitch with only 9 players to do it I should imagine!).



Really enjoyable and well done to Cumbria for winning the comp this year.

Brilliant tonight, much better than the last couple as i think the teams are getting to grips with the tactics of it. there were less seven's style trys on every possession, and some real cracking play in attack and defence.



Highlights: Cumbria were brill especially with the same ref every game

and fev playing with ten was also fantastic.

I would have love to have gone last night but couldnt so had to make do with the telly very good coverage by PS. Shame the night didnt have the fans backing.

I thoroughly enjoyed that, well done to the Cumbrian side & Fev.



Who was the ref for the Cumbrian games, he seemed a little helpful.



Only downside was Offiah’s appearances, when he wasn’t bigging himself up he was touting his clients.

Give it a chance! It's a new concept which needs time to grow! The first Challenge Cup final drew just over 13,000 people, and I bet there were people then moaning about how little fans backing it received.
