Now you see Marwan offered to buy us but the RFL or some other clueless gimp elected instead to go for a slightly higher offer from a man with no wealth whatsoever. And surprise surprise we inexplicably have run out of money under the chairmanship of a man with no money. Who could have ever thought that might happen?

Hope it gets sorted, however I just don't see how a club can ever really thrive in that stadium in the long run.

What has become very clear over the last few years is that there is no one at all with any meaningful wealth with the inclination to put a penny into Bradford. Now I personally find it a little baffling that a club in a city, with relatively solid core support, and a brand that is tarnished but recognised can attract precisely no pounds (does any neutral fan not find it a little odd or it just me?). But that’s where we are, and for as long as that scenario remains, there can only ever be a lower division Bradford.

We can't find anyone with any money to invest - you can't get promoted without a millionaire - you get stuck in the lower divisions making it harder to attract anyone with any money to invest. And repeat.

Shame for the Bulls Koukash didn't pick them up instead of Salford a few years back. It would have been a far better fit for both parties imo.

He was strongly against any points deduction last time for exactly the reasons that you mention.

Professional sport is all about money and if you havent got heaps of the stuff, it will always be a struggle.



If the clock could be wound backwards, Marwan K would probably have wished that he'd put his cash into Bradford.

Oh yes I realise he's a friendly voice in a world of "Cut your cloth" and "have you thought about being a supporter run" and "I've no sympathy" parochial twits.

Didn't he try to do that indirectly through Mrs Koukash? The problem with his efforts at Salford have been down to the team underachieving and a lack of consistency (One step forward and two back). Until Salford start performing regularly and shake off the inferior SL club tag the Salford public won't associate themselves with them. This year was much better apart from the points deduction but the club has to build on this now.

No sympathy here Green and co did his best to stitch us up last year, added with the yorkshire "Koukash would have been better off with the Bulls nonsense"
