Based on the Wakefield Chairmans recent IVA, it could be that his creditors have requested he sells his shares in the club to fund their losses. Or maybe they feel they have taken the club as far as they can go.



Either way he leaves a legacy, Wakefield have done remarkably well to scrap and scrape to keep their Superleague status without any major influx of funds.



Hopefully for the loyal fans of Wakefield an investor comes along with the cash to take the club forward and bring their new stadium plans to fruition.



In the face of a warning from RFL over their ground condition, the threat of the removal of their franchise, a ground already sold, a recent winding up order, poor performance on field and very little in the way of signings you can't help but feel that the market value of the club is at it lowest. Hopefully someone with the right intentions comes along.
