Certainly the least favourable option. The fans, generally, don't want a ground on a retail park car park in the middle of nowhere (there's very little land within "the city" that would be cheap / suitable enough). One of the biggest attractions to Headingley (and one of the reasons that people cite on this forum for Leeds being a good "away day"icon_wink.gif is the surrounding area. The club also has too much revenue generating infrastructure already at Headingley (mainly the hotel).



Again, there is no "away end" at Headingley. Away fans are free to buy tickets in the North, East and South stands if they wish. And you could equally make the argument that having the choice to stand in the open is a plus side to Headingley, particularly in the more favourable weather.

The pictures are a bit unclear. I'm assumng the away end is terracing, which is good if you ask me. The South Stand all terraces?

why is this in the 2011 brochure, surely no one is implying we will see any of that in 2011? it is too late to start this close season isnt it?

How can a University afford to 'sponsor' anyone in this day and age of reduced funding and cutting of courses.

Because everybody else has pictures of ' pretty ' stadiums instead of ancient dumps , and leeds didn't want to be left out
