Well we won the CC, but we were the most inconsistent team in the league in 2005 (I think there was a 3 month period that season were we didn't win or lose more than one game on the bounce, and luckily the CC games fell on those weeks that we won!). Then we got knocked out of the play-offs 71-0, and then got beat 4 games out of 5 the next season in SL (including 46-0 at home) followed by being knocked out of the cup.
Kear was poor in the league at Hull during his entire time at the club, and got knocked out of the cup at the first attempt the year after so couldn't have a saving grace. |

His inability to control the players was a huge problem, which resulted in some of our senior players basically threatening to leave if he didn't get canned. |

Is it ok if we conduct a hate campaign against him for the remainder of his career? I believe it's the tradition with Paul Cooke transfers.
I for one wish him all the best at Wakefield except when they play us of course and thank him for the part he played in keeping us in SL.
