| Quote Damo-Leeds="Damo-Leeds"I remember when I strained my foot earlier in the year and my dad parks in the Kirkstall sports centre and I have to walk up that big hill in order to get to Headingley stadium. Its something that I don’t want to experience again especially with cruches in each hand. How relieving it was when I got home and had a paracetamol.
Have you ever struggled that much to get to a rugby league match?'"
When i have to leave work late its a struggle especially for away games.

| I was once ready to leave the house to go to a match at Headingley when my wife reminded me that the carpet fitters were arriving at 9am the next morning and that she had been nagging me all week to nail down a couple of loose floorboards before the carpet went down.
Went and got my hammer and a handful of nails, did both boards, was just knocking one final "one more for good luck" nail into the floor when I heard a hissing noise.
Yes, nail through central heating pipe time.
So what would you have done - gone to the match or fixed the pipe, when I lifted the floorboard there was a new water feature in our bedroom with a fountain at least three feet high

| In 2003 when Bradford played Saints I had to work til 7.30 and it was an 8.00 KO
Managed to get changed at work, and set off from Steeton to Odsal, drove at some illegal speeds all the way to Bradford, parked at the bottom of Manchester Road, and sprinted up the hill to Odsal Stadium, went to my normal turnstyle, shut, had to run round to the late entry one, got in the ground about 30 seconds after Kick Off,
Then watched Robbie break his arm and Saints muller us 35-0

Yeah
He was terrible.
So in true form we sold him to a Pommie superleague side for big bucks where he turned out to be one of their best players

| 2006 harlequins v hull fc, left hull at 9am to get to stoop for 3pm kick off, travelling in car, all going well, stopped off at watford gap around midday for break, giving us plenty of time to get to twickenham, rejoined m1 and 500 yards on there was a accident meaning we didn't move for nearly 2 hours!, managed to arrive at the stoop just as the half time hooter went!

| The only time I've ever been late for a game was Leeds in the play off final eliminator 2007. Bad traffic on the M62 meant we only arrived at 8.20, twenty mins after kick off.
