Bailey Isn't a bad player when he sticks to playing the game. But i don't recall peacock and morley etc smashing prone wingers after the hooter has sounded like bailey did to riley in the challenge cup final, the thing is i wasn't suprised when he did, loathsome character.

Classic Bailey. He does what he wants.

Everybody has an example of something Bailey has done - on or off the field - which makes him a "loathsome individual", to use one term.



For every one, you can find plenty of other examples from around the sport of other players doing pretty much the same thing, yet they don't get half the vitriol from the keyboard warriors.



Why is that?

Im sure Corey Hughes, Robbie Mcormack and Robbie Kearns, will all tell you how Morley would never do anything like that.

To name but two.



Michael Platt can go on that list as well, forever looking to take cheap shots at half backs and wingers.



Hell, even the late Terry Newton didn't cop the same level of grief that Bailey does.

Erm, no thanks, plenty of good youngsters coming through the ranks here for that! Not to say Bailey's a bad player per say (although he often doesn't seem to run his weight in attack), but without the niggling tactics he's just a workhorse style prop at the end of the day. He's not as terrible as some would make out, but he's not as great as some Leeds fans make out either... although I guess that's just the done thing now.

Is that going to be his new tackling technique

I know why. It's the elephant in the room. If I say it the thread will go nuclear though.

I really dont see the fuss with Bailey. His technique in attack and defense is debatable. I dont know where he is regarding penalties is but from what I remember he hasn't been banned that many times in the last 10 years, so it cant be too bad.
