Ahead of this years showpiece at Wembley, what was the first Cup Final you went to, whether at Wembley or elsewhere.



Mine was Hull KR's classic 10-5 win over Hull FC back in 1980 at Wembley. Great day. Great memories.





To this day, Hull FC have yet to register a win at the national stadium.





I'm sure many other RL fans have top memories of Cup Finals they attended, be it with their own side or even as neutrals.

Even though I am a Leigh fan, my Mum & Dad hail from Widnes. My 1st final was at Wembley in 1975 for Widnes v Warrington. I was only 10 years old at the time , but unfortunately I wore a Widnes scarf at the game....and it has 'scarred me for life' !

1978 Leeds v Saints. The first and last Challenge Cup Final my dad took me to as he died in December that year. Some great memories of the day though.

1974 Wire v Fev - magical day, still think the old Wembley had a better atmosphere than the new.

'68 - "Watersplash Final". Never a penalty try in a month of Sundays. I'm still traumatised.

2005 hull v leeds at Cardiff great game

1994 vs Wigan. stood right in front of Offiah after he scored THE iconic try. Still my favourite final despite the defeat.

2003 Leeds vs Bradford in Cardiff.



Went onto see Leeds lose again in 2005, 2010, 2011, 2012. Fair to say it has been pretty sole destroying. Leeds year was an unreal feeling getting the first win. The nerves are jangling today with the fear of another loss at Wembley. Head says nothing to worry about, heart is nervous.
