The announcement was made at half time of the Bulls vs Wakefield game.



If the Bulls get 10k people pledging to buy a season ticket for 2011 before 4th October then the price will be £60

Hope it happens for them, but I will be very very shocked if it does.

Credit to Bradford for trying something, they have to stem the drastic reduction in crowds somehow.

Same deal worked for Bradford City, hope they pull it off..

Also, if someone pledges to buy one at £60 and the target isn’t met, is there a get-out clause?

What a fantastic idea. 10000+ in every game with all the benefits of that would be great for the club. At just under a fiver a game even the most disgruntled supporter would be mad not to take them up on the offer.

It seems that if they don't reach the 10,000 pledges it will all be null and void.



Expectation seems to be that they will make it. If they don't i'd imagine prices will just be frozen at worse case scenario.

This was needed last year or the year before IMO. The team have just lost 12 games in a row and will probably lose to us as well.

Easy to say that in hindsight, what's important is that they've taken the initiative for next season.

New decade, new coach, the timing just seems right. Hopefully we can reach the 10k mark and have a decent season in 2011.

New marketing emphasis too, with a new Marketing Director with lots of previous, and a CEO now on the board with a marketing background. And you just started to see the results of that in today's announcement.



We'll get there, if the reaction I heard today is anything to go by. Its designed to induce the stayaways back (for £60, they'd be mad to continue to stay away) and the walk-ins to sign up for membership and get the whole season for the price of a handful of walk-ins.
