Turned it off. Wakefield shouldn't be allowed on Sky again this season, they clearly don't care.

He was on a hiding to nothing, so he gambled on trying to intercept the pass. Obviously Smith read it and just kept hold of it.



When that happens you look a fool, but with men flooding in support and no other Wakefield man in shot it probably was the best chance he had.

If i was the Wildcats, i would have pull Hall of the pitch and told him to go sit in the sheds.

It was a bit of a half hearted attempt (as it was for Burgess' try) but I think that's obviously what he was trying to do, and I don't necessarily disagree with his thought process.



I was just about to type that this score could be anything and Wakefield don't seem interested, but hopefully that try gives them something to fight for.

They look okay with the ball. In fact, on paper their side is on par with, say, Widnes. The effort just looks derisory. I can definitely see how they conceded 80.

Strange half of rugby. Wakefield have kind of jogged around looking like they aren't too bothered about the result, but mainly due to Wigan's own lacklustre performance they are in the game. Wakefield actually play some good rugby at times, it's more their commitment that is lacking. I hope the realisation that they could actually win makes them come out 100% in the second half.

I think it's a good game and Wakefield aren't doing too bad. As for Hall, he looked awful and clueless but I wouldn't want 3 Wigan players charging at me on a 3 on 1.
