What's this all about? He says the fans should know "what the challenges are before they are asked to commit as season ticket holders". But then doesn't go on to tell them what these "challenges" are.
Anyone have any idea what he is alluding to? |

I think he's alluding to the fact that we will be unable to spend the salary cap next season based on last year's income, and we certainly don't want to go down the route of others who have spent more than they can actually afford on players. You can bet your bottom dollar that the RFL wouldn't be saving Castleford if we were to get into a similar situation.

The RFL didn't save the Bulls, they did what they could to help them but it didn't succeed, the Bulls would have been liquidated at midnight if the OKB hadn't bought the club. OKB saved the Bulls. At a huge cost.
I'd bet the RFL would do what they could for any club, but that's another story. I was asking about Cas. |

The club is in a precarious position in as much as we don't have a bottomless pit of money plus the fact that we have licensing to contend with again from next season.

FWIW we only have a four team league in reality, the rest all make the numbers up, so should we cut the other six dead beats as well ?  |
