Just been to William Hill and put an accumulator on for tonights international football games, 8 selections, returns around £70. Is there anything similar that can be done in rugby league?



I used to do first try scorer and winning margin for fridays' sky games, would never return much or prove to be useful, any hints or tips would be appreciated thanks fellas

The only bookies that i can find, that do a rugby coupon are William Hill. You can then select results from straight wins and handicaps on that. However, if you ask, you can probably do almost anything but may have to write the bet out yourself rather than a fill in on a coupon.

Sometimes, you can do a bet online that they won't accept in the shop. For example, i like to bet on first try scorer for Saints each week, however, if they are not on SKY then sometimes they won't take the bet, despite the odds and everything being online, which i find a little bit strange. The other week i went in ladbrokes and they took my bet on the Saints V Catalan game, which wasn't shown live ok SKY. I then went in a week later to do a bet again on the Saints V Wakefield game and they said they don't take bets that aren't shown live on SKY.

If you're making a bet in the shop they will allow you to bet on anything, which is how bizarre bets like the one Lewis Hamilton's dad had on his son from a young age to win F1 champs are created.



However, a lot of bookies will ask for a minimum bet, and will have to phone head office to get odds, it's usually not worth the effort.



Online is best, Ladbrokes are quite good as they offer odds on championship games too. However the odds on anr RL game are generally quite short. \so you might need to be looking at predicting a lot of games for the kind of returns you get from football!

You can always try the handicap coupon which most online bookies give odds on. Skybet is usually a good one and will offer odds on SL ,C1 and C2 games.

I use William Hill. I have a quid on each game and predict the winning margin within 4 points for a decent return. I backed Wakey to beat Leeds by the correct amount the other week and won about £12 for a £1 bet. Last week I was within 4 points of correctly predicting all the SL games(except Giants v Wire) and if they had all come up on the accumilator which i placed a quid on, i would have won around 300K!!!

The other week I won almost £600 cos the bookie had Salford +18 vs Leeds @ 118/1 instead of 11/8. It wouldn't allow me to put more than a fiver on it and the odds changed immediately after placing it.

Almost all online bookies offer odds on rugby league.

I'm with Bet 365 and Skybet.

I did an accumulator with William Hill last weekend (no handicaps, just straight results), and i bet on every Super League, and if they would have all come off, i would have won a massive £26. I didn't win though, Huddersfield and Castleford let me down, however, the odds were pretty rubbish for predicting every result to be correct.

I'd go with this, I used to do an accumulator every weekend.

Bet24 used to screw up their odds all the time on RL.



Quite a few times they had first score being a penalty at 60/1 rather than 6/1
