That's two down of the senior players our esteemed leader has got rid of now, wonder if he can get shut of the last two in the nick of time before this gale blows over.

We maybe need to remember that Diskin played the second half of last season whilst carrying injuries which affected his mobility, this should have been sorted by now and hopefully, by the first kick off, he'll be pretty much back up to speed. Obviously it would have been better if Heath had stayed but it's not desperation time by any means.

You have to worry whether Diskin is up to a full SL season now without picking up a few knocks and missing some games. That leaves a lot of pressure on young O'Brien and whilst I am pleased he looks like he will be getting more game time next year it might be a bit too much to ask.



If we go into 2014 without recruiting another hooker I reckon it'll be because we failed to land our replacement. I'm fairly certain they have at least been in talks with a potential new hooker.

TBH, although I'm sad to see him go, I'm glad at least one of the players leaving is leaving for a good reason other than having agents in his ear telling him he's a superstar or other idiotic reasonings.



But the club are now desperately in need of additional players. We had a lightweight squad last year and it's just as light, if not lighter this year.



If Hardaker and McShane are going spare at Leeds, then I'd happily take them as Cummins says he wants competition for places and both of those players would add that to the team as well as Hardaker adding some strike power to the back line

Of course, the last time we got a hooker from Leeds who was at the beginning of his career, he turned out alright!

I always liked the look of McShane. When he actually played for Leeds he looked really good. It surprised me that constantly started Burrow there then putting Sinfield there :/ Don't get me wrong Burrow did a cracking job for them but McShane is an out and out 9.

Unlike Whitehead and Bateman, L'Estrange has not left because someone has told him he's a superstar and should move to another club so that person can get a cut of his sign on fees. He's stayed in Oz to raise his daughter. You know, looking to provide the best upbringing he can for his new family.
