Hi all,
Thought you might want a bit of light relief from the shenanigans going on with our beloved team and hopefully we will still have a team when we get back the end of next week!
Little Miss Cookie has now completed her proton beam treatment here in Oklahoma! It doesn't seem that we have been here 2 months now while she has been receiving treatment - hard to believe we flew out here on 6 May! Nicole arrived here in a wheelchair unable to do much and she will be going home with a hop skip and a jump

The change in her since we arrived is nothing short of amazing.
We will know in 3 months time how successful the treatment has been (they have to leave it that long as protons will keep firing in her brain for up to 2 months afterwards!). However, things have gone really well and it is nice to see her getting back to her old self
If anyone gets a chance to come out to Oklahoma you will love it. The people here are so friendly and have really welcomed us during our stay, wanting to know all about where we're from and how we are liking it. There are 3 things they take really seriously here in Oklahoma - the weather (we are in Tornado Alley), religion and their freedom to carry weapons! In fact they are just debating whether to allow the open carrying of weapons right now like in the Old West!
Hopefully, we will be at the next home match after London to cheer the lads on.
