Why are you naming wingers? We have 3 capable wingers on our books already and Jay Rossi in the academy if we get that desperate.

We need a 6 and some props as our main priorities.



Williams and Sharp are both below Ainscough in ability for mine.

Jay Rossi stated when he signed he is not here with ambitions of playing 1st team, he wants to complete his studies then go back home. Sharp is no straight away and I would take Williams as cover. If Kearney gets injured Kear will be there, Williams and Ainscough on wings.

What happened to Alex Ball? Isn't he the huge fella who also plays on the wing? Any good?

Who are the three on the books? Can only think of kear unless your counting u20's. Pryce and ainscough are both ooc at moment.

We are desperate for Props, lets hope we can re-sign Manoukafoa and maybe bring in Fielden if the deal is right. I also think its time to move Langley to Prop and maybe give Joseph another season for cover..



Judging by what was said last night the Bateman deal is still up in the air and i've been told Leeds have snapped up one of our "promising players" nothing confirmed yet.

It is also good news to hear that Purtell is on the mend and looking to possibly resume his playing career although if he stays on with us it looks like we'll have to lose Sammut which is a blow.



I'd prefer to keep Sammut personally.

Walkers one year added. one piece of the jigsaw, but quite a few more needed, wings (2 more suggestions added - Williams looks the sort of option for our circumstances) props and no 6 particularly.



Alex Ball was injured all last year, and as with all those other u20s/ younger squad members a bit of clarity is needed

Sammut will not leave if offered a decent deal. He is not on quota as the RFL recognise his Maltease passport. Sammut himself said on twitter he is not on quota.



Ainscough and Pryce I expecct will be offered new deals as we simply have no cover on the wings.

It's not the quota spots we need to worry about, it's the non-fed trained players we have. Currently there are 6 on our books and we are only allowed 5. We can't keep both Nas and Sammut for this reason, unless one of Purtell, Lulia, Heath or Kearney leaves.

According to the Bulls' facebook page JB is on the phones between 4pm and 6 this afternoon taking orders for season tickets, maybe someone wishing to book a ticket could ask?

yes, its going to be up in the air until they have the deal done and dusted, given that the one year probation is coterminous with Johns contract its going to be an interesting negotiation

The management team didn't seem to think the 'probation' bit was very important and it was pretty clear last night that they fully expect to carry on in SL for the two seasons, but yes, it might cause players and agents to think a bit, even though there is nothing to lose in a sense, particularly for a young player, in that if the club were to lose its licence then they would be free anyway.
