| Quote Ferocious Aardvark="Ferocious Aardvark"Why are people speculating when the T&A already states, in clear terms, that RW is out "after failing the sport’s governing body’s fit and proper persons test".
Not much ambiguity there. However, if you were still struggling, it goes on:
Other people suddenly coming on the scene and getting on board suddenly starts to make much more sense, though what makes no sense at all was the publicly announced official ratification just a short while ago, when it is not feasible that the RFL didn't already know then what they know now.'"

Broadly agree with your assessment FA. Perhaps the RFL were attempting to help us out for a change, as it seemed important for us to get a fairly swift answer re the ratification situation, assuming they knew of RWs lack of credentials, it may not have been relevant to the ratification process due to the other 3 directors being of sound mind and body, so to speak?
Couldn't see them missing that as that was/is part of the overall process of what they class as "Due Diligence" I think?

| Explains the delay.
Doesn't help with the season ticket sales not that it should affect then. Judging by some of the comments on various things the general public are thick.
One in the T & A branding everyone one liars and suggesting fraud based on the pledge cash. Are people really that thick? Omar Khan bought the club out of administration after the pledge cash had been collected it's got shaft all to do with anyone at the club now or over the last year.

| The three guys now in charge of the club actually sound like they have their heads screwed on, and it seems as if each has brought their own expertise to different facets of the business, which is great.
One thing that has struck me recently though, is who will actually be taking care of the day-to-day running of the club now Whitcut is gone?
From what I can gather, Calvert, Moore and Watt all have commitments outside of the club and I'm fairly certain it has been reported before now that none of them are dedicating all of their time to the Bulls.

I said for a while this is what the club needed more than anything else. It's all fine and dandy a charismatic restaurant owner and an MP taking over, but what do they actually know about running and marketing a sporting club? I wouldn't think too many of their skills were transferable to that environment. Whereas some of the people who have come on board recently, have expert (arguably) knowledge in financials, marketing, merchandise etc. The sort of things you want someone to know about when having input into a sporting environment.
With no disrespect meant to Omar and Gerry, as their hearts were undoubtedly in the right place. But I'm more confident having people on board who have the correct skills and knowledge.

T&Aarticle quotes Calvert as saying that a new General Manager is to be appointed.

Gerry was the wrong MP. If we could just have got one of those who knows how to proper fiddle the books, we might have been able to run the whole club on MPs expenses for a year or two as a second home or something.
