Dewsbury will insist on playing at home and it is true that sl season ticket holders will recieve up to half the grounds capacity in tickets . by my reconing about 1500 tickets as Dewsburys ground capacity is just over 4000 but that is currently reduced owing to the ground not being reassesed for capacity following remedial work on the terraced stand a couple of years ago .the rest of the tickets will be available to home supporters first and then any remainder offered to the bulls . it certainly isnt ideal but dewsbury will not give away the home tie . how the bulls will allocate their quota i do not know but obviously it will be a problem . this season ticket scenario was agreed pre season and the clubs accepted that if any club had to visit a ground with a small capacity then they would accept the situation . I do not know if there is time for the capacity to be recertified up to 4200 but i will try to find out and post on here .

With respect to Dewsbury I doubt it is much over 1k perhaps not even that high.

If that is the case, it would have been nice for the clubs/RFL to mention that when advertising it as a perk of purchasing a season ticket. I'd always assumed that if demand was higher than the capacity (which of course you'd have to check first how many season ticket holders would take up the ticket, some won't), then it gets moved. If that's not the case, and it is in fact how you've explained it, there's going to be some p*ssed off people.



The funny thing is, the free game in the cup probably doesn't sway anyone buy a season ticket. After this may potentially cause a lot of complaints, it may get re-assessed as to whether it's worth the hassle.

Aye,imagine that only 50% of the season ticket holders get tickets, that leaves over 3,000 without tickets............what on earth can the bulls / super league do to resolve this issue? Offer another ticket to a different away game..........?

Dewsbury season ticket holders do not get in free as they had free admittance to the last round . in reply to am earlier poster it is irrelevant who i am but just take it that i am trying to inform you of the scenario as i understand it for informations benefit and not from rumourmongering .

I'd say you were about right with that, when we played London Skolars last year they brought litterally a handfull of fans and the crowd was just over 1000, although maybe there'll be a few more come for the occasion!







He's the Dewsbury Chairman's best friend, and he's right about us not giving up the home venue. Not sure about the ticket allocations though.

Bulls believe it's gonna be played there too, so I'm sure that will be true.



We'll just have to wait and see how it's handled.
