| There's a huge difference between being able to change things by actions on the field as Jimmy used to do and being an articulate, inspirational, smart, shrewd talker/motivator of men a la Peter Fox.Jimmy has proven that he hasn't the nowse to be a top head coach imo and the sooner changes are made the better, because no changes made will see things stay exactly the same and the abyss awaits in that case.
Come on be brave and take the BULL by the HORNS.
I would take Brian Smith above Rowley/Morrisson as they are not proven as off field leaders/motivators and we could be in exactly the same place as we are now imo.Just my view.

I'd take any of them and Noble too.
Shame there is no modern equivalent of Sir Peter Fox.

| I was already pretty despondent before this season even started. The current topsy-turvy state of super league, the form of the 'lesser' SL sides and now our pathetic vein of form have all contributed to make my levels of optimism at an all time low.
As soon as you convince yourself that nobody will be getting promoted (and I have), then all of this mess just seems completely redundant.

| I'd love Noble to come in as head coach. If anybody can save this season then it's Brian Noble.
Beyond that. I wouldn't like to see him in a directory of rugby role. I fear his motivational impact on the first team would be limited from that role and that is what he is best at

| I'd go for Noble too. Knows the club and is a Bradfordian. Got the experience which we need. We've had our fair share of Young up and coming coaches. Time for someone who has been there and done it. Think Brian Smith is a none starter. He's back in OZ so can't see him coming back.

| I was pretty despondent after the MPG because first, we should have won it, second if Addy's conversion had been good we WOULD have won it, third because we came so close despite a mystifying squad selection and the terrible luck of a still-nowhere-near-fit Gaskell.
I was despondent because if we couldn't beat a Wakefield in such disarray, then no better opportunity would likely come again.
But, I stumped up for my £380 season ticket expecting that the squad having had a year to get to know each other, plus one or two decent improvements, would again make a good fist of the season, even if it seemed unlikely we could win the MPG. I reasoned that there was chance, however slim, that we could finish in an automatic promotion spot. And it was slim, but it could be done, if we were better, trampled everyone all season and peaked at the right time, and managed to win against a SL team that also dropped other points, I could see a way.
Unfortunately our recruitment has been baffling and shambolic, and anybody who has watched the games knows that these players are not properly coached, and come on to the field somehow with a huge inferiority complex, and a tender constitution, and as soon as things go wrong, they panic and we can't find a way out.
Even the coach knows he's not coaching them properly - he keeps saying so. He says its his job and he is failing. But why is he still in it, then? I mean, what signs are there that despite our descent into a frankly joke side, he has the ability to turn us into victors over SL clubs in the playoffs? (and how daft does THAT idea sound?!?)
I don't understand Green. I understand loyalty but this isn't about that, this is about a team which is totally lost, and a "coach" who repeatedly admits he has no clue what to do to make things better. And a club that thinks we don't need a scrum half.
But my main concern is the universal bad feeling and bad taste of all present at recent games, especially after Sheffield. Green underestimates the fans. There is only so much shiit you can take before it sticks in your throat and I think the limit is now being reached. People feel as if they have been sold a pup, and that there is zero sign of anybody doing anything about it. The players seemingly love Lowes, Lowes loves them, and Green and Ferres love both, and so we are apparently doomed to do nothing, and to play like this all season, and to finish somewhere in the lower reaches of the Championship, and thereafter to die a slow and lingering death as crowds disappear, money dries up, and we become the club that once used to be Bradford.
It is all a bitter pill, but it needs something major to change and fast - but all the signs are that NOTHING will be changing any time soon, if at all.
Is that all there is?
It appears so.

Ditto, superb summing up, let's hope Green or one of his associates looks at it and then gets that the apathy we feel has to be stopped NOW

| Here's how to send a message - don't turn up to the next home game. An empty stand and terrace = soiled pants in the director's box.

| What is Green's RL background?
Is he from Bradford? Is he a long time fan? Has he ever been involved in RL before? Does he have good knowledge of the game or is he totally reliant on Ferres and Lowes for advice?
I don't really know anything about the bloke.

| Bradford still have quality players. The "COMMUNICATION" as Brian and even James has alluded to is someway to fixing the problems.
James Lowes is quite rightly recognised as a club legend. However, much like Kevin Keegan as England manager he was too emotional, his balance of Logic and emotion was out of kilt. I think James is in that hole. The other problem possibly is that everyone is unique and James maybe cannot understand why his messages and direction are not getting through. The communication has to evolve through a culture where everyone is involved so that they understand. Emotional messages are very powerful but short lived. Logic is what will carry some permanent development. I do not think great coaches are "Loved" but have gained respect without question.

| Marc Green should make a business decision and show Ferris the door, he has become a liability now and is holding back the Clubs progress and Green does not owe him a duty of loyalty! A new CEO with SL experience will certainly freshen things up and indirectly improve the attitude of the Team and possibly on field performances!

| As to who is Marc Green. I have been to almost all meetings where Marc Green has spoken and it seems to me that he is a businessman who is trying to run the Bull as as a business i.e Income exceeds expenditure or at least expenditure doesn't exceed income. So my guess would be that he relies on both Ferres and Lowes for his RL knowledge.

| I suspect Robbie over Lowes, but otherwise I don't think there's any doubt about that at all.
