Saturdays rant was the latest in a long line of embarrassing petulant outbursts. Yes every supporter wants a coach with passion and not a yes man who says what the authorities want to hear, but they don't want there coach to offer to fight them at full time either !



Have we peaked at the right time of the season ? Lost twice to Halifax, 3 second half hammerings and couldn't twice beat the worst team that super league will probably see for a long time. Not what I call peaking.



Has Lowes brought stability ? Not sure how stable the players feel when week after week they see there team mates shipped out because they had a fall out with the coach or never even got to pull a shirt on.



And finally we are definitely not in a better position to gain promotion next year. We have already heard cuts will have to be made and with Halifax strengthening, Sheffield going full time & Leigh signing who the hell they like things are most definitely gonna be a whole lot tougher next season to even reach this position, add to that Wakefield can't possibly as poor as the were this year.

Every so often I see posts that seriously make me question the mentality of some of the Bradford support.



Are you really surprised that Jimmy Lowes acted like he did? Jimmy has always been a volatile loose cannon. That is what endeared him to so many fans when he was here as a player. You cannot have it both ways TBH.



He is thick and he was asked the leading questions that the media people are paid to ask. They knew they would get a bite.



Great player but you would not exactly want to ask Jimmy to join your team if you were going on Eggheads now would you?



FWIW, I agree with most of what he said and whether he was out of order or not is open to peoples' opinion. Personally I would rather see a passionate outburst rather than a quiet acceptance of the situation.



And it is still nowhere near as embarrassing as asking Leeds for the points back after the Magic game.

No i'm not surprised he acted like he did, he's done it numerous times this year, and I don't want it both ways I don't want him as coach. Yes I liked him as a volatile loose cannon as a player, this is not however a good trait for a head coach. If Saturdays tantrum had been in isolation this season them fair enough but unfortunately that's not the case.



His outburst and petulance are also however not the only reason I feel its time we should part company.

I never said that your mentality is in question because you think that Jimmy should go. You have clearly misread what I have posted. I think that there are many on here that could suggest I was a bit of a hypocrite if I questioned peoples' mentality because they wanted rid of a manager TBF.



However, he is a convenient scapegoat (despite being his own worst enemy at times)



We have been a joke of a club for a long time now, long before Lowes came back to manage and probably will still be for some time to come. The damage was done by the conveyor belt of shyster, wage thiefs and hoodwinkers over the last ten years or so. McNamara was there for far too long but some of the new "sack the coach" crew seemed strangely quiet back then, probably scared off by the club mouthpieces on here that tried to censor the vitriol aimed at the right people. (Most of whom are long gone from here now thankfully)



You also again have to question why, if (as Jimmy suggested before Green contradicted him) we face financial constraints that may force us to go part-time then why we are continuing to pay the likes of Robbie Paul and the embarrassing teflon booty-licker that is Stuart Duffy?



For years we have been spun a web of lies and half-truths by some of the most shameless clowns in sport and I was shouted down for condemning them. There is no way I will condemn Lowes for telling the truth, however he put it across. Plenty on here question the RFL on a daily basis so why should we round of him when he does the same?



It is difficult to see what more Lowes really could have done IMO. If he goes then so be it. I doubt there will be too many banging at the door to replace him though.

We have enough enemies of the game on the outside without someone on the inside doing their job for them. He completely lacks class & makes the ape Wane appear human.







But he wasn't telling the truth. His view of the decisions of the officials was wrong and his opinions of the play-offs are just that.

Just because he tells the truth or not it doesn't make him a good coach or indeed good for the club

Lowes was a duff coach before we got him. That is WHY we got him in the first place. We did not exactly have anyone beating down the door to come in. He was a cheap, convenient appointment, made to appease the fans who could not take to Cummins because he was Leeds through and through.



As I said, he is thick. Hence the meltdown. But there have been far worse within our club than him over the past few years. And remember that WE appointed him. WE knew the type of character he was. Therefore we cannot really complain about it now.



Should he go? Yes. Who would I have that is realistic? John Kear. (before I am asked)
