Well, to be fair, you're assuming that Sheffleld were asking the same price then as now and we don't actually know if that is the case. Also, as pointed out above we've lost Leon from both the playing roster and wages list so, given his playing position and charismatic character, bringing Chissy on board is a direct, and imo, very necessary replacement if we have pretensions of making a fist of avoiding relegation.

Just got back from the weekend, what a great match and the support was epic, Sundays support for the remaining matches was poor i'm sure there were more Bulls supporters on the Saturday night than the total support on Sunday.

The only disappointment i felt after the game was the realisation that our owners failed to offer Dane a contract at the start of the season.



The guy was class! If we had him at the start of the season, i'm sure we would have significantly more points on the board!

Maybe we had to hit rock bottom first but I didn’t see that performance coming. In stark contrast to the London game we muscled up and respected possession. Chisholm undoubtedly provided a lift. He has his faults but he’s got that bit of extra X factor that makes a difference in a tight game. I just hope that knock to his knees isn’t serious. Playing with a big pack certainly helped with Magrin in the backrow. I hope we continue to do that. When the rain came down I feared the worst as our handling in the rain has been poor this year but this time we were excellent. Something to build on certainly for the crunch match at the weekend at Dews.
