| Assuming the funding is real, and I tend to think there's is something in it given the OPs track records, then is it sufficient to get us out of special measures so we can start tying down ooc players we want to keep and recruiting new players?

| Quote Frank Whitcombe="Frank Whitcombe"I've posted pretty regularly on here for a couple of years now, and I've been ridiculed, agreed with, embarrassed, and most of the the time I've been right
through it all like most people on this board I just wanted to support my team.
There will be news in the next few days that has proved some of us right again, there will be no administration thanks to a benefactor (not investor, that's important), there will be breathing space for the club to move forward and shape itself anew with homegrown talent at the fore.
So as I've said before time to get behind everyone at the club and move forward, I'm running with the Bulls cos we're really gonna be alright!'"
You were dead wrong about Monday's programme notes. Hopefully that was just a blip

| Quote MDF2="MDF2"It may just be semantics, but I see Moran & Davy as benefactors, rather than investors. Their contribution has not been 'one-off'.'"
It hardly matters if someone wishes to put something in the kitty. For what it's worth I'd think investors were people looking to gain a return (not necessarily directly) whilst the fans who gave to the pledge are benefactors. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes in the shareholding, or even on the board. let's just hope the story has 'legs'.

| Leaving aside all claims of inside knowledge, leaks and briefings - when Caisley decided to step back into the fray, you can bet your bottom dollar it was with a plan. Some feared the plan was to take us straight to admin, but both sides claimed to have been talking to potential investors. Which some believed, some didn't. If Caisley's crew have now taken it the vital step further and reached a deal with one of the said potential investors then great. It only means though that (a) they weren't fibbing about being in talks and (b) the present state of the club, whatever dire stories are circulated, must be sufficiently healthy to persuade someone that chucking a decent sum of money at it (the hint is it's a benevolence not an investment) is very likely not chucking money straight down the toilet pan.

It's blocked. £180k should clear it.

| I wonder if this is a new deal or the continuation of talks that were on going with the previous directors. Either way as a supporter of the Bulls I sincerely hope these rumours are true.

| Assuming this gets confirmed then a great step forward.
Lets hope we can celebrate at Old Trafford! Think that might be a bit much to ask, but getting into the play-offs again will certainly help make it less painful to pay the higher price for next season's ticket.
When the ink has dried lets hope the new board reaches out to the fans who have rallied round in this time of need and forge some better links

| I would like to see a similar scheme continue, but certainly expect prices to be significantly higher.
I would also like the club to consider increasing the tickets to cover the cost of a shirt. This way there is potential if a great number of shirt sales and all goes towards cash flow!!!. I know there maybe some drawbacks with this, but it should be looked into at least,

| Anyone hear what Ross from the T&A had to say during the bcb commentary of tonights game? Administration is a certainty and that he's heard rumours that the debts are even more than what mr coulby is saying. Why are lies STILL being told I wonder? Ross is a journo it's his job to dig for dirt and it's highly conspicuous that he says there is worst to come.
I think bulls can get 2 points against Wakefield, we're not the only club to be performing badly..look at rhinos !!!

| Maybe the Bulls have got wind that the cat is out of the bag and are asking Ross to reel it in for some reason, maybe that it's not gone through yet or they want to announce it in a blaze of glory, or maybe Ross is even correct. Who knows, I'm highly dubious of this rumour anyhoo.
