Don't see why they need to wait until new club management structure is finalised before paying what they promised. Iirc they were going to put the money in irrespective of who the new owners were. Sounds to me like they were perfectly happy to get the good publicity when they promised the funds but now aren't too keen on paying up. Seems to me financial affects of Bulls fans boycotting his restaurant (with double whammy of probably going to his competitor mr khans establishment instead) would more than outweigh the amounts their quibbling over.

They'll still want something out of it, they'll see it as sponsorship rather than outright gift. Agreeing the terms of that with a competitor could be tricky.
