In what's been an inconsistent 2011 thus far, for me there's been one huge positive, and that's Koppy.



Always up in the top 3 MOTM polls on this board, and one of, if not our best front rower in terms of the impact he has on games this year, I've been looking into his stats year on year, and they make some damn good reading.

Kopzcak is turning into a very good Super League prop, he has been outstanding this year.

definitely a contender for player of the year. I've been most impressed with him and Royston this year.

Someone at the club told me he is on his way to Hudds to replace Griffin who is Leeds bound.

I agree, Koppy has been superb this season...Time for Potter to drop him or farm him out to Quins for a bit...

Wouldnt be surprised its what we normally do isnt it - train them up to be good players then ship them out

Koppy signed up for 3 more years in pre season, so unless the Giants are willing to offer some cash he wont be going anywhere.

I'll put my hand up, I wasn't convinced by the lad upto the beginning of the year and felt that he should be showing more and "putting himself about" a bit more.



He has really kicked on in th elast few months. Against Hull he was showing the ball for a dummy!



He has started to play his weight and size which was always my biggest criticism of him in the past as he's a big lad and never really punched any holes.



Hopefully he will continue to improve, and, one or two players will start to follow him into the collision a bit more as he is starting to show the ball for an offload more frequently.

The only thing he lacks is, as the saying goes, 'a bit of devil'



I don't mean nastiness or dirty play, but you get the impression he's a almost a bit too nice to be a SL prop! As if he doesn't really want to hurt anyone.



If he could add just a touch of aggression to his game, I think he could be one the best props in Super League

I too thought he wasn't up to much at the end of last season and was shocked that he got a 3 year deal. However he defintly has improved and is finally punching holes in the oppoistion. Still needs some work on his defence as he does seem to switch off.

Most improved player without a doubt.



Contender for poty, hope he keeps up his good form.

this got me thinking back to when he was starting in the team and him and Matt James were fighting for a spot. Personally always thought that James would be the one to make it. goes to show why im not an RL coach
