Wow....just Wow!

I don't see that as a diss to John Kear. Just pointing out that Dunning is working with Kear's squad and should be given time to build his own. Fair assessment. I still don't think at the moment Dunning is good enough but the CEO is right in that he should be given an opportunity to build his own team.



The dig at some of the players is necessary. Seems like some gave up this season. Or didn't give 100% on the field.

I dont see the shock at the statement. What has he said that most of us haven’t been saying all year? Good on him I say. Rather this than telling us how rosy the year has been.



It’s been a disaster of a year. It’s nice to see someone come out and admit it. Hopefully next season is indeed better although it’s looks a bit worrying at the moment.

John Kear built a poor team this year so he takes blame for that and the poor fitness throughout the team.

What exactly has he got wrong?

What's so Wow? He's bang on the money. Would you rather him come out and tell us how unlucky we have been, or make excuses like previous regimes?

Some of the players have been dialling it in all season.

There are certainly some red flags there but let's not kid ourselves, Dunning was assistant under Kear so it's not like he's had no say and he'd assemble a massively different squad. Wasn't part of the justification of him getting the role he knew the players anyway and if anything the performances have gotten worse.



Isn't it good planning to decide what you are doing next year mid way through the season. Presumably some people don't like what they see - rumour is it that's why Crossley is off - not sure why the club are pretending it's a unique situation to us. We hand out one year contracts like sweets so it's par for the course.



Not saying the players are blameless of course, but it's not as simple as it's JKs fault. What have recruited so far doesn't exactly scream we're going to have a better run at the playoffs next year

Well, he says the squad was nowhere near good enough - and John Kear recruited that squad.

I'm not saying it was wrong, and the 'wow' factor to me is the fact that someone came out and said it.

Ah well yes in that case I agree it is a shock that someone has stuck their head above the parapet. I’ve been calling for someone at the club to give us an honest assessment so it’s welcomed to me although I do agree it doesn’t fully wash to just try to pin the blame on JK.
