Not good enoough IMO. Doesnt offer much.

Needs to be given a set role IMO, before we think about saying not good enough.



What the lad does have is an incredible tendency to tackle anything that moves. Quite interested in the possibility of a run at 13 for Donaldson, you'd think he'll have the hands and ability to play there rather than being in the second row.



Just hasn't been the same for Donno since his comeback, hopefully he'll sort it. Like I say, think he has potential at 13.

Doesnt have the ability to play his self into any position. Far better players all across the backrow. He's going to struggle.

Sorry can't agree. He is a superb tackler, before his injury he was superb. That injury will take time to get over and back to his best. He has been in and out of the team all year, not been able to get any momentum and there is the small fact he's only 19. Sam Tomkins didn't make his debut till he was 20.

He's a good tackler and is playing now exactly how he was pre injury.

He's got pace, is a solid tackler. Could do with being told what role he's meant to be playing. TBH, I think he'd be better suited to being switched to the centres than Whitehead

He's not big enough.

his salary could be spent towards someone who will make an impact!

The skill he had when playing for Wath Brow seems to have been coached out of him by our staff.

There is this theory that a coach designs a game plan that needs all players to be "round peg" players to fit his round peg game board.

He then buys round peg players and bashes into his round peg holes board the existing players no matter that they may be quality pegs of a slightly different shape.



Another coach might see that he has quality pegs of different shapes and is clever enough to develop a game plan that maximises each peg he has no matter what their shape.

Providing they are good enough he can alter his peg board to maximise their effectiveness and alter his game plan accordingly.



Under the former a young player's flair will be bashed out of shape. From a unique octogon (say) to a round peg. If he does not make the grade as a round peg then he's seen as a failure.
