| On his hols.
Great performance from the team, we looked good in defence and like we had a clue in attack. We also performed for the full 80 which makes a nice change. Not a bad player in a Saints shirt, but credit especially to Lomax and Gaskell who were exceptional.

shame
Some top performances, Lomax especially for me. The Lomaskell combo looked balanced today and our kicking game was pretty good too. it's refreshing to have a troll free zone too.

| Thought we ran some good angles today instead of our usual lateral one.
Defence was awesome one lower, one upper tacklers knocking em down like bowling pins. Makinson very impressive seemed to look after Carmont and Richards by himself.
My Man of Match was Jammer, unbelievable work today and was geeing up the whole team all the match.
Did Vomkins stamp on Wellens and milk the penalty.

It was a penalty but Ratboy did make a meal of it. Quite ironic really with McGuire crying on the big screen shouting for Wello to get sent off for 'slowing down the play of the ball', a tactic which he clearly loves

| 1) Tomkins injured his shoulder in the first half and completely went missing for the duration of the match. Everytime the ball came his way his threw it like a hot potato and wanted nothing to do with it. Thus, Wigan's main attacking option disappeared. I think its glaringly obvious that without Tomkins, Wigan are totally one dimensional and have very little to offer - why else would he stay on the pitch for 80 minutes when he clearly wanted to be anywhere else.
2) Phil Bentham has an almost laughable performance today. The 10 minutes surrounding half time he did his utmost to get Wigan into the game - how many sets did we have to defend before they went over with 10 seconds to go till the break? It almost felt that, with Tomkins injured, Bentham nominated himself to take over as Wigans catalyst.
3) Easily our best performance of the season - everyone played their part and we fully deserve the win, and a week off. We completely dominated Wigan at the DW earlier this year (but were punished by Farrells last gasp winner) and we've done the same today.
