Have to feel for the guy, I just hope everyone else gets the same treatment and no more letters about tackling technique from now on, or let off's for good behaviour.

I don't think anyone has been issued with a letter this season have they? I don't remember reading about any letters this season. Either they are given a ban (and fine), just a fine, found not guilty or no case to answer in the first place, which to me is much more straightforward and ultimately fairer (as everyone knows what to expect) than the farce that has been in place for most of the Superleague era.

Wellens was so slow getting there they doubled his fine.





Seriously I thought he would have got off with it due to his previous good record.

I wonder if he had entered a guilty plea if he would have got just a fine?

It's done now so we've just got to get on with it, it's not the end of the works and still good enough to get a win.

Anyone else think Wellens waving his arms at the ref later on may have had a bearing on the outcome?
