| Quote Legless="Legless"When is Wellens gonna go in for surgery? I would imagine it to be soon, after MM (?), because he will be back to full fitness for the summer months surely. He had a really heavy limp on Monday after the game.'" Get him done soon as, I say. Lomax prooved he can cope and we want Wellens back at his best for the business end of the season.

Not taking anything away from Wello, but at the moment we can afford to do without him. Perhaps we are waiting until after the CC against cats, its the only game on the horizon that we cant afford to loose

Agree with that.

Wellens should go for the op mate to be honest! I have confidence in Lomax that he will do the job in his absence. The sooner he gets done the better and then he can be firing come the buisness end of the season.

| Quote Saint Simon="Saint Simon"I know but a lot of teams with less fit forwards would be tempted to go for three big forwards on the bench, we seem to be well ahead of most other sides fitnesswise.'"
I don't see the point of knackering up our forwards early on in the season by making them play more than they need to.
The way the game is now, 3 forwards on the bench is a must for me for most games.

I have too agree on this. If we go with 3 forwards in some games we will be knackered upfront come the end of the season.

| I'd go for.
Wellens
Gardner
Gidley
Dean/Gilmour
Meli
Pryce
Long
Graham
Cunningham
Hargreaves
Wilkin
Flannery
Clough
Roby
Fa'asavalu
Ashurst
Puletua
Eastmond and either Dean or Gilmour to miss out at centre. If Flannery isn't ready then him and Eastmond miss out with Gilly in the second row.

But with only 4 places avaliable and roby/Kc interchanging giving only 3, how are we going to gradually introduce a halfback to replace longy? Its a bit of a conundrum. If we play with 2 forwards + robes against the perceived "weaker teams" is a possibility, if we loose a game or two but find out that we have a true star in Eastmond it would be worth it.

I very much doubt Gilmour will be dropped.
