I don't know, but the Ablett incident especially was even worse watching back when we got home. I actually didn't think it was that bad at the game probably as we was behind the sticks, but when I get txts at the game from Saints fans saying its a shocker then you know its a bad one and Ganson in particular isn't usually afraid of showing the card. Especially when you consider the 2 soft yellow cards we've had at Leeds this year when you compare the incidents.

I agree he should of seen a red for it. However, the Referee can't see every incident under the sun, and I think if he failed to see what happened, putting the player on report is the best option under those circumstances. I'm sure had Gansen seen the incident the correct decision would have been made, nothing to do with him desperate to keep Leeds players on the field.

Believe what you want, I can assure you there won't be a massive scandal down at Red hall.

There won't be a ban for Ablett, either. And it doesn't matter what Bailey does, he doesn't get a ban. All it takes is for your coach and his ugly face to appear at Red Hall and all Leeds players up for punishment get let off, usually with a warning letter or a fine.



Ablett should be banned for that tackle. He won't be though.

I am willing to wager than Ablett will pick up at least a one match ban for that. Again, stop being so paranoid.

They may still be banned since it seems to be affected by the prominence of the player also. Ablett and Bailey are not as important to Leeds as, say, Morley and Carvell were (to Wire) when they were freed to play against the big game with us, after trying to decapitate players the previous week.



In the same way Peacock was allowed to swat Sam Tomkins around the head twice in the same tackle against us, because he is a prominent player and had an important game the following week.



They'll make less consequential bans on lesser name players to make sure the balance looks good, and so Ablett may get 3.

Not paranoid. But he won't get a ban. He should have got a red card, actually, and I was disappointed in Ganson for not sending him off. Ganson used to have balls but it would appear they have shrivelled since his leg injury. I assume only breaking someone's neck would constitute a red these days.

Ablett and Bailey = Yard dogs. End of.

The worst part of last night was the reaction of the South Stand to Ablett's assault. Disgraceful!

Predictable though. These are Leeds fans we are talking about.

According to the a poster on the Leeds board the Bailey incident was a result of "enthusiastic leg drive" and "the knee got nowhere near as the ball carrying arm hit the Wigan man."

Still even wins feel like defeats at Leeds because you still come away fuming that your never involved in a fair contest. If the semi next week if reffed by the man in the middle and not a stand then Saints should win with abit to spare.
