Well in all honesty you dont have much scope in that ... The Regal Trophy or the Regal Trophy

| Thanks for that saddened, sarci comments aside i think Saints Will be weaker for about 3 seasons. But i don't doubt them in the long run, they have been the most consistent team in Rl (i said consistent not successful for any pie trolls willing to correct me). I don't doubt for a second that this will only be a minor blip in your history.

What blip in our history? Reaching 3 GFs on the trot?
I really do think people should wait until at least half way through the season before saying Saints are even close to a blip. Last time I checked the SL table we were only 2 points behind the unbeatable Wire and Wigan teams despite a pretty shoddy run with injuries.
Come Friday we could be level with the mighty Wire and they could have lost 2 from 3 against the stronger teams in SL (Wigan and us, but beating Hudds).

Actually, I rather like other clubs' fans saying we're in a blip, and will be for at least a decade (or a hundred years, or whatever), just like I rather like it that we are never on Sky at present. It would be very nice if we continued to build on our attack, get our defence sorted out, and quietly blow the lot of them out of the water! No-one would suspect a thing because we're in a blip, our squad is all 90 years old, we're past it and we're never on Sky.

if saints are as good as they have always been, why the potter out threads? Why re-sign fozzard?

Who said we're as good as we always have been?
There's a difference between "a blip in our history" and us not having as good a squad as 2006.
Wigan nearly getting relegated is a blip on their history. Reaching GFs suggests Saints are still in a non-blip phase of our history, wouldn't you say?
I won't give my opinion on the Potter out threads again, because it ends up sounding rude to a section of our supporters. Suffice to say I didn't join in.
We re-signed Fozzard to add another forward body to our squad, which he has done. He doesn't make the squad this weekend because we have other props in better form.

We're not as good as we've always been. However we're alot better than other teams are suggesting. We will finisg top 5 and can beat anybody on our day. We have world class players in Eastmond, Graham, Soliola and Roby. Probably the best scrum half and prop in super league. You must be a good team.
I think rival fans forget that this season we have had nothing but bad luck with injuries. We was dominated against Hull after 2 of our backs (Gardner and Soliola) where taken off inside 20 mins vs Hull, that leaves a massive hole to fill as we had no 'backs' on our bench. We then lost to Hull KR with a massive injury hit squad (6 players and Wellens, Lomax being taken off inside the first 25 mins). My point is that Saints with a fully fit team are capable of winning SL imo.
We signed Fozzard purely on personality mate. We obviously dident have a lot left in the salary cap department so we brought back somebody who just loves boosting morale and for me his doing a pretty good job.
It will be close tommorow but i wouldent write off either team if they lost.

| It all depends where you live, where you come from, where you work, who you knock about with etc. Warrington have always been up there with Wigan for me as Newton has significantly more Warrington fans to share banter with than it does Wigan fans.
How can a man who shows his face at a Rugby League ground once a year, if that, possibly lecture anyone about Rugby League rivalries?
Enjoy Crusaders v Catalans!

I'm with you on that man.
Warrington are a big rivalry for me purely because I have to deal with the bellends on a regular basis. My life will be made a living hell should we lose.
