If Whitehead had been knocked out would Foster have been off?



The circumstances may have been different, but when Raynor knocked Tomkins out in the CC it was red. He made a lot more contact, but he was going to knock the ball out (if Fosters entitled to try and kick the ball, surely Raynor was allowed to have a try at knocking it out) both missed and connected with the head.

Foster was close to the ball though, and the ball was in open play, not being carried.

Foster doesn't though as he pulled out of it; he was reckless at most.

His last ban was February 2010 whilst playing for Cats against you.

He was not cleared of any wrong doing. Penalty sufficient was the ruling.

Just watched both incidents on the superleague show. The kick to the head was a penalty. The Elima tackle was late, he hits with his entire upper body, and his elbow is pointing down. 1 Match ban. If the ref had balls he probably should have sin binned him, then it would've been punishment sufficient.

Foster does kick the ball though. I'm still struggling to see when he actually makes contact with Whitehead (though I am on no doubt he does), penalty, 8 pointer. Raynor swung a fist which missed the ball by a metre, no comparison.

With his knee as Whitehead turns. Total accident, as Foster said on Twitter he is good friends with Whitehead and toured with him for international games.

It doesn't matter if they're married.

Hopefully Foster was just carrying Whitehead's bags for him?
