| I have 2 thoughts on this:
1 Eastmond has been out for a while with a failry serious injury, bar a 30 minute run out in the friendly. In his previous games, he got injured. It makes sense to ease him back into the game, risking another few months on the sidelines would be foolish, even though the proze was a victory against Wigan. The long term view should have been to protect him for his first few games back.
2 Saints did ok, even with a poor Eastmond, and no effective stand off. Had we had a stand off (Wheeler has done nothing to convince me he can ever play at 6) and a 7 of any ability, we would have been a far stronger side. Losing Eastmond will be a blow, but far from the end of the world. Losing Graham would be a far bigger blow.

| Fair enough then. Drop him, let him rot in reserves and bring in someone to do the job.

Agreed. We don't need the disruption.

| Let him go asap and charge yawnion for rest of his contract. Gives us room under the cap for a replacement - now who've we got? or who's available?

Looks like the gruniad has got it spot on.
Thought he was poor at cardiff and don't really want anyone who isn't committed and who messes us around like is doing. I'd rather he went now.

| Quote tommymartyn="tommymartyn"Kyle Eastmond is injury prone.
He is a very selfish player, illustrated perfectly last season in one of the play off games when he played for a hour on one leg and would not be subbed.
Half of his problem is Martin Offiah filling his head with delusions of grandeur for his own gain.'"
1) Show me a young player who doesn't miss games through injury.
2) That would be the league game against Leeds in July when we started the match without six senior players and lost Pryce to his back injury? Kyle only played in the Huddersfield play-off semi and was brought off after 44 minutes.
3) Offiah isn't Kyle's agent anymore.

| As I've posted already in this thread, I find it strange time for eastmond and saints to announce Kyle is leaving.
It puts a huge amount of pressure on Kyle and if saints have poor run some will turn on Kyle Saying he's not committed and we will be saying the club should not have played him.
For Kyle and the clubs sake I'd have thought they would have waited until later in the year to announce he's off.
He may well stay but the time to release it might have been better ( if he's leaving).

| I hope he stays, he's a way off the finished article, but he's a very talented player
