Probably best man for the job. I do wonder why the RFL want to put themselves in a position where allegations (however paranoid and foolish) can be aimed at them. What happens if Ganson makes a legitimate error (as all refs can) which happens to go in Saints' favour at a crucial stage of the game? Unnecessary controversy potential. |

gansons the best ref easily but out of an appalling bunch,
how we have missed both russel smith and ashley klein in sl this season!
it must be hard for ganson to referee a saints game as most speccies of opposing clubs know that his son is a saints fan
i sometimes wonder if this could actually work against the saints one day

TBH, if he makes an error either way he will come in for a lot of stick as been biased towards Saints or trying to prove he is no biased against Saints. Its a lose, lose situation for him. The RFL are ridiculous to put him in charge really, unnecessary controversy as you say. |
