Show us your threads from when Maurie chicken winged your player (it wasn't against Leeds, though, was it? I've just remembered) Anyway, dig up the threads about Maurie chicken winging whichever player it was and see whether there is outrage there or not. Then compare it to our outrage. Fans being outraged at their player being injured shock!



However, compare the same club's threads on the ban that Maurie received and then read our thread on the ban that Maurie received. I'm sure they would be expressing outrage. Had WE been expressing outrage at Maurie's ban, having now expressed outrage over JJB's ban, then YES we WOULD have been hypocritical. However, no such outrage was expressed: we just accepted it. Therefore, no hypocrisy!

But when our players like Sonny and Vila do make mistakes and tackle a bit high at times, we don't glorify it and state how proud we are of the 'biff' the team put in. We just admit it was a poorly timed tackle and move on.
