Don't talk wet - that story has been around for a good while now, as Martin has already mentioned.
There's plenty of players who've had bets in games that they've played in, including the majority of a squad who lost a final against unfavoured opposition, conveniently when the club decided that they wouldn't pay said players a winning bonus.  |
