Not sure if my post about Kyle came across wrong. I DO think he's a good player and could maybe be a great player but he looks like he's going thru the motions and sticking 100% to game plan.



I do understand that sticking to tactics and game plans are very important but sometimes if a gap opens or a pass is on then he needs to do it.



He looked like a robot out there.

Apparently he has said that he will make his decision about his future within the next week. Obviousoy his mind is in other places at the moment.

If he goes he goes. I'm not to fussed. It's all getting boring now, the sooner he says what he's doing the better.

Reading between the lines it would appear he's off. Says he'll make a decision this week though, which is good news for us. If he's off we can spend a whole season tapping players up to replace him rather than having a couple of months with no one available.



If he stays, great.

It would be a little weird if he says he's off to be honest. Players and clubs leave it until the back end of the year to announce if a player is leaving.



I got told saints gave him the final offer on Tuesday.



Just seems strange that us and Kyle would say he's leaving only being a week in.



If he was going I'd have thought he'd have told saints and we'd sit on it while looking for his replacement.

I didn't expect much more than what he produced to be honest, it could be a while before he's back to his best after such a long lay-off.



How people can question his effort is beyond me, he was clearly trying to make things happen.

Well i hope he stays in league at saints, the years of saints investment in his youth development and he rewards them with a few years



He owes them to stick around for at least a year or two

He probably thought that the when he signed his last contract.

Kyle's problem was that he didn't take the line on at all. I very much doubt that was in the gameplan (unless it was doctor's orders).





Now be honest ... would you be saying this if it weren't for the RU thing?



Kyle was rubbish last night, no question. But he was without his halfback partner, it was the first game of the season and it was his first game after a long spell of injury problems. He was clearly struggling with confidence when it came to taking the line on for this latter reason. If he stays fit and plays a few games he'll be fine, I'm sure.

That's what I mean dux, he seemed to just go thru the motions of a game plan and not taking the line on when a gap opened.



He looked very very predictable and didn't put any doubt in the minds of the Wigan players.



I can't see him being allowed to play if the Docs orders was don't take the line on!



Maybe it was a mental thing, everytime he ran with it last year he got injured.

But surely taking the line on would be part of the game plan. Either way, it looked like a confidence issue to me. Not good enough last night, but nothing to worry about unduly.

Kyle Eastmond is injury prone. He and everyone is aware of this fact. He does not want a big injury before he signs his £4,000 a week deal with Bath does he. He is a very selfish player, illustrated perfectly last season in one of the play off games when he played for a hour on one leg and would not be subbed. Saints should cut there losses now while he is fit because he will move eventually anyway. Half of his problem is Martin Offiah filling his head with delusions of grandeur for his own gain.
