Didn't he say at a recent fans forum that he will be a Saints player next year, but isn't ruling out a move to the NRL when his contract is up?



I'd be all for him going to the NRL - Burgess and Ellis have gone their and excelled, so I will expect Jammer to do the same. I only hope, then when/if he returns, he'll be wearing the red vee once again.



Its a shame his contract expires just as we move to the new home.

Burgess (despite being billed by Rusty Crowe as a super human being who could only be stopped by kryptonite and soap) was shown to be just another ordinary pom.



Eliss has improved slightly but despite people saying he is the best forward on the planet (Wests players mostly) is still pretty ordinary and has all too often bombed the sort of try scoring chances my gran could have crashed over for.

You sound like a typical Pom basher Ellis and Burgess have been two of the best forwards in the NRL this year and thats a fact.

Why don't you try watching a game of rugby once in a while? Ellis and Burgess have clearly played exceptionally this year.

Ellis has done well enough to be voted West Tigers' player of the year. It says a lot about the standard of competition in Aus if Ellis is "pretty ordinary", yet is still the best player for a team that got to the semi finals.
