Elima has been charged on a grade B offence. Dangerous tackle on Gaskell. Too little too late for us. Foster however who was put on report no charge. He was making a legitimate go for the ball and contact with the other player was accidental.

Just a pity that the ref didn't manage to see it the same way!

Thought that was a pretty cheap cynical shot on Gaskell.

I thought it was pretty bad and could be a jaw breaker. He was lucky to stay on the pitch IMO.

Elima isn't eligible for the stupid 'early guilty plea' thing either as he's had bans in the last 12 months. I hope they thrown the book at him.



Great that Foster's innocent efforts have been recognised but that just shows how bloody awful Silverdud is.



He punishes the innocent party but leaves the guilty one alone.

The was no way Jamie kicked him kicked him on purpose, the ball was there to be kicked and he was entitled to kick at him but unfortantly caught him in the head with his shin.



The 8 point try was a shocking call!

If he'd swung his arm carelessly and made contact with the head then it would have been a penalty. As it was he swung his legs carelessly. Penalty. It just happened to be while the player hit was in the act of scoring, which is the only thing that is unusual about it at all.



No arguments with a ban for Elima from me.

I'd have been very disappointed is foster hadn't tried to kick at the ball as IMO he was entitled to go for it.

Of course he was, and I fully agree that that's all he was doing. But he has a certain amount of responsibility to be aware of his surroundings too.

I know what your saying but on one angle it's pretty clear he does pull out from a full blown kick.

He should have sent the decision upstairs, but did they gave it? anyway it was balanced out with the first try being so forward, it is becoming a joke in our game with the flat passing the number of forward passes.

Thought he was blowing far to often for so called head shots on both sides. I'm all for cutting high shots out but FFS let the lads tackle.



I was very pleased to see lance run in and try defend Gaskell when he took that elbow, it's about time saints stuck up for there mates.
