On the topic of this half-back agrument Myler V Tomkins... on last nights performance its McGuire who shouldn't be in as he was none existant...



Jammer as always led from the front, Robes played along longer than per usual, Moore well less said the better and Kyle looked a threat when he came on, great vision for the Briscoe try and doesn't this kid always look a threat from scrum bases as 1st or 2nd receiver!



As for the Aussies next week how about an extra forward on the bench with Robes starting and Eastmond to cover off the bench?

McGuire isnt international class, he doesnt make things happen, he is a support player at best. Ok his kicking game isnt bad, but we already carry Sinfield for his kicking, cant afford to carry another person for their kicking ability.

Tomkins and Eastmond mate, would make a great combo. very exciting.

mcguire has been the best stand off and scrum half at Leeds last season and out played burrow in ever part of the game in 09!

Don't give a monkeys how he plays for Leeds. You may want to make love to him every night, I don't care. It's how he plays for England that counts just now and last night it was as if he wasn't on the pitch. Same could be said for Sinfield, except he did manage to attempt a kick or two in the second half.
