Just read on Twitter that he is still in hospital but hoping to be released tomorrow. Apparently he is in good spirits and thanks everyone for their best wishes.
He's tweeted today saying that he is now out of hospital and back home. He is sore but up and about. Is hoping to go to the Pride of St Helens Awards tomorrow night, as scheduled.
