Farnworth on debut was the one that got us going and looked good. Walsh was also on debut.



As a Widnes fan I'm not too disheartened.



We had 9 players out through injury before the game and lost 3 in the first half, meaning a prop on his first game back had to play the full 80. We also had 2 debutants. There were two tries in there that were more than preventable.



Theres no doubt we'll be bottom 4 but I'm confident when everyone is fit we'll be more than fine. Our best 17 is no worse than Huddersfield or Leigh's.

Briscoe, Delaney, Handley, Stevie Ward all should not have played. All carrying quite bad knocks.

Got to give him credit with the injury, but having started off looking quite comfortable, I thought he looked pretty poop after 30 minutes and for rest of game. Looked hesitant and holding back.
