Are you assuming that the rumours of Kirke to Wakefield, Moore to Wakefield,McShane to Widnes and Clarkson to Cas will not happen? Obviously if there is some movement here then that will create more space in the 25 man squad. If only one vacancy then is that to be filled by Joel Moon?

Clarkson to Castleford is a no go. McShane and Kirke to Wakefield is whats going to round.

Are the likes of Olds, Brown and Roche under the 19 then? I'd be surprised if we let them go, they look really good prospects?

I agree but all going even tho Roche is probably still eligable for 19s. Shame about Brown, he has come good right now and would have been a great prospect for Danny Mcguire cover in a few years. I would have played Brown at SO on Boxing day instead of Ward, as Ward was not ready then.

If W55ARE calculation is correct in that if no more outgoings there is only 1 vacant position in 25 man squad, then if either of above movements took place then it would increase capacity for possible incomings. The rumour about a new hooker might not be too far of the mark?

Not sure if there's anything that says we have to be limited to a squad of 25, especially given that a few of the kids 21-25 could be loaned out, but if GH is for whatever reason set on that then there's a maximum of 3 spots for new players depending on departures.

I think we will have two / three more additions to the squad, a centre (Joel Moon?) and a new hooker, if McShane does leave, and a forward, if Kirke is leaving.

if another forward is leaving, I'd much rather it was Richard Moore than Ian Kirke.

It will be interesting to see any changes when GH declares his hand at the end of our season. I'm sure discussions are going on behind the scenes. Peter Smith said on twitter that Lunt still does not know if he will be still with us or back to the Giants next year.
