Exactly. I think a lot of people don’t grasp his role in the club and how significant he is. Day to day his role exceeds any influence Caddick has now for example.

Succession planning has been going on for quite a while behind the scenes at HQ and Rob is very highly regarded.

He is a shareholder and Director. As with majority company’s there will be an heirarchy, but he is not some gofer boy. He runs certain parts of the organisation, and in particular some of the roles you mentioned.

I am a shareholder and director of the business I work in but I still report to the CEO as will Rob Oates. I have a lot of time for Rob he is a very good man but he will not be making the big decisions in the club and he will be reporting in to Gary.

Answerable, yes. But he will be making the decisions,and GH doesn’t have a day to day role in it, as was initially implied.

That is all I said ultimately who is reasonably for the overall direction of the club - who has suddenly opened up the purse string it certainly isn't Sinfield and it certainly isn't Rob Oates.
