I agree regards Widnes though, they will need to start regrouping for middle 8s from now.

Easter Mondays aren't often the best showings, hopefully just a bit of sloppiness due to the short turnaround and the job looking done at HT. If the 2nd half happened on a normal Friday night on a 7 day turnaround it would be more worrying. Looking at the other results it's not been easy for any team today.

We're joint top (although may be 3rd if Salford win in France) and Cas's game in hadn is at Hull next week. I think most of us would have taken that halfway through the season.

Agree about Widnes, thought they'd be bottom at the start of the season and not seen anything to suggest that will change......unless Leigh after their encouraging start to the season continue this poor slide in performance. Regardless Widnes will be bottom 4, it might be confirmed early enough though that they can prepared well for it and survive the Middle 8's but HKR are a serious threat for whichever 4 teams are in the bottom 4.

On the plus side, McGuire had a great first half, and the halfs continue to do well. Watkins looked pure class. Delaney worked really hard.
