People will be less likely to travel to games if they're working early the next day.



What about families with kids?! You know, the same kids who are the future of the sport. They won't be able to go to the games as they'll be getting home to late with school the next day.

You only watch that for 3 minutes anyway.

SKY are not bothered about spectators. It's a simple as that, be it Rugby League, Yawnion even Football to some extent. They change fixtures as they please without any thought about the paying public.

My only concern would be that a Monday > Friday turnaround would be a little tight for most knocks

Why should they please the paying spectator and season ticket holders at games?



They exist to to please the paying Sky subscribing armchair spectator in the comfort of their own living rooms and profit from that.

Reading your tweets and fb statuses, this seems to me like you're annoyed because you will be unable to get "messy" and "extremely drunk" on away days. It will probably be only one game, it's no massive deal, as it's not exactly the whole season.

What about people who work friday or saturday nights, far less happening on a monday to stop people going.



A few people may be too mothering to take kids on a school night but I cant imagine any grown ups being bothered about staying up past 11.



Personally I can think of loads of things that I would rather do on a friday or saturday night and save the rugby for monday.

How many away saturday games did we have on sky last year?

You obviously can't please everybody.



But the majority of people work Monday-Friday and enjoy their leisure activities at the weekends!

Last time you went to a home game you had to ask somebody how you were supposed to get home after annoying the hell out of everyone all day, and falling alseep on the service bus to town! You're not at liberty to comment!
