I'd say so yes. He was at his best about 5 years ago, but he's still very good.

Do the players read these boards?



Both Senior and Kirke have copped for some flack over the past couple of weeks on this board and today both of them produce their respective ‘game of the season’ so far.

The key point in my post was 'WELL past', as mentioned by David and numerous other posters. In my view, if this was the case, he wouldn't be able to pull this kind of performance out of the bag even if it is on the odd occasion.

I'd hope that they have more sense than to waste their time on the views of the fans.

Their own reflections & those of the coaches are what they should pay heed to.

Who was it said "if you listen to the fans you'll soon be sitting with them?"

Agree with this 100%. IIRC every try we conceded today came from errors made by this week. I don't think it helps that 9 times out of ten, McGuire defends on the right side of our line when the opposition is within 20 meters of our tryline. In my view, he can't tackle for toffee. He's a great attacking player and Leeds would be a lot flatter in attack without him but when it comes to tackling. Well.

Was sayng exxactly the same Tad. We really miss him when he goes off, and in the first half, all the points were shipped in when he was off the pitch IIRC.



He has been a great signing for us. Under rated by a lot of fans, but solid and consistent every match.



However on a negative I wish that he would stop warming up in front of me. In the three or so years he has been with us, I am still shocked at the size of his legs!

PPS Watched his lad Luke playing Super14 today I wish we'd got him early enough to play for us.
