SHOCKING......................how dare the Rhino fans populate the Eddie Stobart stadium and boo "Rat Boy" they should have been taken outside and flogged to within an inch of their lives.



I go along with a number of the people posting on this link, the lad is an undoubted talent but needs to cut out all the sneeky/snidy crap in his game, only by doing so will he gain the respect by the Rugby League fans outside of the Wiggin metropolis

Agree with earlier posters and share their indignation at the behaviour of Widnes fans in tye Widnes stadium for booing poor little Sam.

When one considers the vast majority of all time great players of British RL... Murphy, Reilly, Bishop, Hanley, Karalius, Mills, Watson et al were well versed in all aspects of the sneaky, snidey, crafty, rule-bending, nasty, wicked edge to their games, they make Sam Tomkins appear naive in comparison. Sam Tomkins is a talented and exciting breath of fresh air who has already earned my respect and my advice to him would be to hone his sneaky, snidey, crafty talents to the n'th degree.

All we need now is a link from Adey to JPs comments on the appalling behaviour of the Widnes fans in the Widnes stand tonight............

All the fuss and nonsense talked about this over the last week will only serve to encourage people to boo the little git.

My suggestion is that we boo every single Wigan player constantly all night, then cheer, whoop & hoola every time Sam Tomkins gets the ball. Just purely for the laugh and because it's on Sky.

I think so. We could also throw in the odd, American style... "We love you Sam!", "You rock Sam!", "Keep believing Sam, you can do it!" etc.



The other think to do... (much harder to organise!!) would be to be deadly silent all match. Not make a single peep. Then go nuts cheering every time Rat Boys gets the ball. Ideally cheering SO over the top and over-enthusiastically that it comes across as incredibly patronising. Then stone silence the second he passes.

Or we could all just boo? Just so ambiguity doesn't stick it's head round door. I hate that.
